The four major golf tournaments on the PGA Tour are now complete, and that will take a bit of the excitement out of the sport. That doesn’t mean that the action is going to be slowing down though as there will still be tournaments taking place.
This weekend will be the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities, and that’s always an exciting event. There won’t be many of the big names participating though as many of those golfers are heading to the Paris Olympics.
There will still be some good betting options to check out, and golf is a good sport to wager on. Here is a look at some of the top betting options to consider.
Some Great Players
The top golfers that missed out on going to the Olympics will be trying to pick up a big win this weekend at the 3M Open. Tony Finau is one of the best players on the PGA Tour and he is a clear favorite at +1100 to win this event.
Finau always seems to be in the mix at the major tournaments, but he tends to come up short a lot as well. There will be others trying to keep pace, including Sam Burns at +1800.
Burns went on a big run at the Open Championship, but he was never really in the mix to get a win. Sahith Theegala is the third big name to watch as he has odds sitting at +2000 to win this weekend.
There will be some other golfers in the mix, but those are easily the biggest names set to compete in the Twin Cities.

Others in Contention
Even though there are three big names to win the tournament this weekend, you are going to want to look at other names as well. All of the golfers will feel like they have a shot since the best players are in Paris.
Akshay Bhatia is having a good season on the PGA Tour and he currently has odds sitting at +2500 to come away with a win. Billy Horschel will be a big name to watch as well and he is coming into this at +2800 to get a win at the 3M Open.
There will be some other interesting names with good odds this weekend as the field is wide open. Luke Clanton (+2500) will be a name to watch as will Keith Mitchell at +3000.
Finau Finally Gets a Win
The fans in the Twin Cities are going to be treated to some great gold action and this should be a highly competitive tournament. There won’t be a golfer that pulls away from the pack and that will keep everyone in the mix throughout.
This will also be a chance to cash in on some valuable odds, and there are interesting options out there. Going with Theegala or Bhatia is a pick to make, but they will come up a bit short.
It’s going to be Tony Finau that picks up a big win at the 3M Open and grabbing him at +1100 is a smart play.
